Sustainable comfort: the Feelou® maternity bra

For many pregnant women, it’s a shock: your body changes constantly during pregnancy, and so does your bra size. Anne Dijkstra and Noor Figdor from The Hague experienced this themselves during their pregnancies. They found themselves repeatedly buying new bras to accommodate their changing bodies, which felt wasteful—both financially and materially. That’s why they created Feelou®, a sustainable solution: a bra designed to last throughout pregnancy and beyond.

A bra that grows with you

The Feelou® maternity and nursing bra is designed to adapt to your changing body. Thanks to a patented system, the bra can adjust by up to 10 centimeters in band size and two to three cup sizes. Instead of needing six bras, you only need two: one to wear while the other is in the wash. This makes Feelou® practical, comfortable, and sustainable.

With around 165,000 pregnancies annually in the Netherlands, this innovative solution significantly reduces waste and conserves resources.

Innovation through perseverance

Developing this groundbreaking bra wasn’t easy. Anne and Noor went through 37 prototypes before achieving the perfect design. Production also proved to be a technical challenge, as the bra requires expert craftsmanship and isn’t easy to produce on a large scale.

With a €25,000 donation from the Rabo Impact Fund, Feelou® is now able to invest in greater visibility and partnerships with maternity care professionals.
